After twenty years of development Dwarf Fortress finally made the jump to Steam in December 2024, complete with exciting new features such as "graphics" and "mouse support". WebJust dropping into this sub to ask if Dwarf Fortress is worth the $5 asking price. 100%. It's number 1 on my wishlist and I will buy it day one. I don't think I've ever bought a Steam game at full price before. But I'll probably buy Dwarf Fortress on launch day.
